He's Witty, He's Smart...He's our President!

Obama's appearance on 60 Minutes helped prove that America has done the right choice. No matter what race, gender, or political party you belong to- one has to admit that he wins over hearts. Obama has humor, wits, and intelligence, which is more than we can say about our previous Republican President. He discussed issues anywhere from Guantanamo Bay and security to his mother-in-law and a new dog. His appearance on 60 minutes reiterated his policies and positions on important things like Guantanamo Bay, and ending the practice of torture in the United States.

So how did this unknown senator and his staff of thirty people make it all the way to presidency? Obama went from underdog status to winning the whole damn thing. And it is thanks to the same qualities that he portrayed on 60 minutes! His revolutionary grassroots campaign drew in forces that have never been seen before, igniting passions in young and old people all across the United States. It was a genius tactic, he used the vastness of the Internet and technology to rally up his troops and fight for what he truly believed was his.

And to his side, of course, was the lovely Michelle Obama, laughing at his every joke and holding his hand. It was a truly sickening display of affection, and in my opinion inappropriate and unprofessional. Perhaps there are Americans out there that love seeing their President as a loving husband. But I really could care less that they still have the hots for each other. Policies, positions, and opinions are what I want to see and hear when I turn on 60 minutes. Your wife's hand on your lap...hmmm not so much.
